Our Mission

BUILD Apparel is committed to transforming our community through the means of fashion, creative arts, service and education by affirming healthy identity and providing tools to live a Bold, Unashamed, Intentional, and Love-Driven life.

Why BUILD?

As the late Zig Ziglar once said, “People are wandering generalities and God created them to be “meaningful specifics.”

When asked, “Who are you?”, we often give responses like, I’m a teacher, I’m a student, I’m a Christian, I’m an athlete, etc. We have been confusing what we do with who we are. Many are validated and receive self-worth from our jobs, religious affiliations, family name or athletic accomplishments. The problem with that is when we are no longer any one of those things, our identity is now in question. In reality what we do, has very little to do with who we are, but who we are is always at the root of what we do.

In many cultures, fathers are responsible for bestowing their children with identity. Society has proclaimed that this current generation of young people is called “The Fatherless Generation.” “BUILD Apparel” dares to challenge that statement. We are children of our father in heaven, and our identity is healthy and secure in Him.

BUILD Character

We are taking individual responsibility for our integrity, personal values, and character. Word is bond, and we declare that we are Bold, Unashamed, Intentional & Love-Driven.

BUILD Community

God has given us the tools to BUILD. We have committed our resources to building bridges instead of walls. We hope to inspire a culture of support, serenity and solidarity through our creative community efforts.

BUILD A Legacy

The Lord proposed this question, "Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. Where is the house you will build for me? Where will my resting place be?" Driven by love, we desire to BUILD a better today for those who will occupy tomorrow.
